I’m never good at starts usually but it was fun. There’s a lot of good guys and some pretty good hockey players too. Lee [Hartman] got in touch with me and I talked to guys like Kelly Hrudey and Lanny McDonald, guys that have come up here and done it and they’ve had a lot of fun with it.”- Advertisement -Hrudey and McDonald spoke glowingly about the event after Warrener inquired about it, making his decision to come to Fort St. John pretty easy.“Just how great it was run, how good the guys were, how much fun it was,” he explained. “Guys like going out and doing stuff especially when they know they can go out and have a good time and they’re not pressured by anything and it sure seems that way. Everyone that I’ve played with so far has been really good.”Warrener plans on talking about his experiences throughout his hockey career and sharing other stories during tonight’s events.Advertisementlast_img
