SCEDC to hire part time/full time administrative assistant

first_imgThe Sumner County Economic Development Commission is seeking an administrative assistant to assist the Director with all aspects of the day to day operations of the SCEDC office.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, database and website maintenance, conducting Internet research, assisting with proposals, projects and grant writing, recording minutes for meetings, accounting duties, filing, maintaining Director’s calendar, answering phones, greeting clients, and attending meetings and seminars as needed.Part-time/Full-Time –Candidate must be flexible in how many hours a week they can work.  The minimum hours each week will be 20 but it may be as many as 40, depending on the work load.Requirements for the position include:Must be customer service oriented.Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in matters concerning projects and clients.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Must possess ability to multitask and problem solve.Proficient in using Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point.Familiarity with website design and social media applications are a plus.Must be able to work flexible hours and travel as needed.Must be a Sumner County resident or become one within 6 months.Pay is dependent upon qualifications and experience.Submit Resume by close of business February 4th to:Sumner County Economic Development CommissionPO Box 279Wellington, KS  67152Email – [email protected]last_img
